Account Information
You can use prcnt without creating an account. In this case, we create an anonymous session and do not collect any personal identifying information.
If you choose to create an account, you may sign in with Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or email verification. Depending on the method, we may receive your name, email address, and provider identifier. Account creation is optional and can be done at any time to sync data across devices.
Habit Data
This includes the habits you create, completion records, identity statements you define, and any notes or reflections you add within the App.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you interact with the App, including features used, screens visited, and general usage patterns. This helps us understand what works well and where we can improve.
Device Information
We may collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version to ensure compatibility and troubleshoot issues.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the prcnt service
- Sync your habit data across your devices
- Send habit reminders via local notifications (processed on your device only)
- Analyze aggregated usage patterns to improve features and usability
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the service
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Convex, a cloud database platform. We take the security of your information seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect it.
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Offline data is cached locally on your device for seamless access
- We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties, ever
4. Third-Party Services
prcnt integrates with the following third-party services:
- Apple Sign In -- for authentication (optional)
- Google Sign In -- for authentication (optional)
- RevenueCat -- for subscription and payment management
- Convex -- for data storage and real-time sync
Each of these services operates under their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their respective policies to understand how they handle your data.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data -- request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Delete your data -- request that we permanently delete your account and associated data
- Export your data -- receive your habit data in a portable format
- Opt out of analytics -- disable usage tracking through the App settings

6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service.
- If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely to help us improve the service
- We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes
7. Children's Privacy
prcnt is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
